The gymnasium is surrounded by Soviet apartment buildings forming a chain/network of monolithic structures. The highschool site is a link between other public buildings (church and school).
The urban proposal of the building is developed by continuing and activating public spaces, which provide points of interest for students and the community (sports grounds, skateboards park, playgrounds, outdoor fitness area). This is how highschool courtyard is formed with convenient access to the sports grounds within the site.

The shape of the ground level and the scale of the envelope reflect the composition of surrounding buildings, meanwhile the composition of the upper volumes of the highschool represent the typology of the New Pillaites buildings which appear in a much finer scale. Such sollution was taken inorder to form inner cozy spaces within the site area and at the same time strive to achieve the most appropriate lighting according to the world direction for learning classes.
